Cycling Assessment – Full
This assessment puts the Bike Only Fit together with the PhysioBikeFit to give you the ultimate in bike assessment.
By having a movement specialist conducting a bike fit is what differentiates our service from a lot of bike fits available on the market. Listening to what you have to say and then looking at what you do on your bike is an integral factor to what happens next.
It is not always from the feet upwards, but sometimes from the back and pelvis downwards that we must consider. By using multi-view camera analysis, flexibility and dynamic postural testing, we can start to understand where the problems may be coming from. We then interpret our findings to formulate a resolution, which may include:
- Bike adjustments
- Technical work
- Flexibility training
- Strength training
- Cycling orthotics
Remember, it’s not just about what we do on the bike that makes our cycling the way it is. We need to be think more laterally about we should move as opposed to how we do move. An assessment with the Drummond Clinic will not only deliver a thorough breakdown of your cycling technique, but along with a comprehensive analysis of your movement proficiency will give you so much more.
