Clinical Exercise – What is it?

Our Clinical Exercise sessions are performed by Craig Lewis B.Phys.Ed; B.A. (Hons) Sports Science, who is based here at the Drummond Clinic.

Clinical Exercise is the study of movement and in turn understanding the response and potential adaptation of movement on the body. While, Clinical Exercise professionals are skilled in understanding and assessing health and fitness behaviours and risk factors, fitness and wellness assessments and in the design and implementation of appropriate exercise programs.

Exercise programs are guided by your own individual and assessment based needs and are aimed at delivering a tailored, research and evidence based program in order to achieve the best possible, sustainable solution for both your short and long term goals.

For the Client looking to achieve a sustainable and injury-resistant solution to exercise. Whether it’s to train for a 5km fun-run or for an elite endurance race, a clinical exercise scientist can assist in achieving your goals!
